Ellie and Mitsu's story starts with a kind gentleman who noticed a mom cat and her kittens near his home and made sure they were watched over and fed until they were old enough to be safely rescued. Thanks to his care and their wonderful foster family, these two sisters have grown up safe, healthy, and into two truly remarkable young ladies.

Mitsu is a gorgeous girl with a shiny black coat and a spirit that will stop you in your tracks. This sweet girl was either born missing one of her hind legs or lost it very early on — but nobody told Mitsu that was supposed to slow her down. She tears up and down the halls and wrestles with her siblings with the same enthusiasm as any kitten twice her size. She tends to observe a situation from a distance before jumping in — a thoughtful girl who likes to know what she's getting into — but once she's decided she's in, she is fully in. She has also recently discovered that pets and scritches are absolutely wonderful, and if you have the nerve to stop before she's ready, she will tap you with her paw to let you know that was not the agreement.

Ellie is a petite girl with a breathtaking light grey coat that catches the light and looks almost lavender — and a pair of big, innocent eyes that tell you absolutely nothing about what she is actually planning. Do not be fooled. This girl loves to wrestle, loves to play, and loves to be right in the middle of whatever is happening at any given moment. She is a little more outgoing than her sister, meets the world with enthusiasm, and loves pets and scritches just as much as Mitsu does — which is to say, a lot.

When they have finally exhausted every possible game and worn each other completely out, these two curl up together for a long, well-earned nap. They are still growing into their confidence with humans and will need people who are willing to give them the time and patience to settle into their new home and continue blossoming. They would do best with older children who know how to be gentle with animals and give them space when they need it.

Ellie and Mitsu are two sisters who have already shown incredible resilience and heart. With the right family, there is no limit to the cats they will become.

Their adoption fee is $250 (total).

Ellie and Mitsu were born around 5/11/26. They have been spayed and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.
