Kermit and Piggy were rescued and brought to their foster home with their mom and siblings when they were just a few weeks old. Growing up surrounded by people from the very beginning has made them confident, social, and entirely convinced that humans exist primarily for their benefit — and honestly, spending five minutes with either of them, you'll be inclined to agree.

Piggy — Ms. Piggy, if you please — is the runt of the litter and the undisputed biggest personality in it. Don't let her size fool you for even a second. If you are in the room, Piggy wants to be in it too, preferably in your lap, or on your shoulder, or climbing you like a very affectionate jungle gym to get a front-row seat for whatever is happening on the counter. She is a devoted little shadow, a self-appointed foreman for any project that needs supervising, and an enthusiastic foodie who responds very promptly to a Churu bribe. She is happiest in the middle of everything, loves a good shoulder ride, and has perfected the parrot perch with the confidence of someone who has never once considered that she might not be welcome. She is true black with no stripes — a sleek, striking little cat — with a tightly curled tail and an endearing habit of grunting that somehow only adds to her considerable charm.

Kermit is the kind of big brother every kitten deserves — patient, gentle, and reliably the one that all his siblings gravitate toward when it's time to curl up and nap. Named for the enthusiastic two-legged hops he'd make as a tiny kitten when something excited him, Kermit is a natural clown and a complete delight. He is always up for a romp with a willing sibling, equally ready to abandon the romp entirely the moment a lap becomes available, and genuinely one of the easiest, most good-natured kittens you could hope to meet. He loves plastic springs, little balls, and a good climb — often battling Piggy for king of the hill with the cheerful determination of someone who has never once held a grudge about losing. He is the slowest to spook of the litter, patient and unflappable in a way that makes him a joy to be around. His dark brown coat hides his stripes in most light, but catch him in the sun and they emerge beautifully. His tail has a curl to it, and wags like a dog's when he's excited — which is often.

These two have grown up around humans from the start and are wonderfully socialized. They would do well with children who know how to be gentle with animals, and have been fostered with dogs — a cat-friendly pup in the household would be just fine.

A clown and a queen — together they are an absolute gift, and whoever gets them knows it immediately.

The adoption fee is $250 (total).

Kermit & Piggy were born around 5/8/26. They have spayed/neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.
