Moose and Goose's story doesn't have the prettiest beginning. These two brothers were found in a box outside a local cat rescue — unkempt, dirty, and reportedly scavenging just to get by. Whatever they went through before they were found, these boys landed in good hands, and they have made the most of every moment since.
At first glance, Moose and Goose look like mirror images of each other — and yes, people mix them up. Look a little closer though, and Moose gives himself away: he's considerably larger than his brother. He carries his size with the quiet dignity of a kitten who knows he's the bigger one and doesn't need to make a big deal about it. On their first introduction to a large dog, Moose made his feelings known by puffing up to maximum porcupine — a completely reasonable response, honestly.
Goose, who has a little more white on his forehead and a touch more orange in his coat, took one look at the same dog and couldn't have cared less. Cool as a cucumber and twice as charming, Goose is the one who comes running when the door opens and appoints himself your shadow for the duration of your visit. He has the easy confidence of a kitten who has decided that people are wonderful and sees no reason to overthink it.
What these two share is everything else — sweet, loveable, curious, and playful, with velvety soft coats that are an absolute joy to pet and purrs that start up almost immediately. Together they are endlessly entertaining and genuinely wonderful company.
Moose and Goose have shown they can handle a cat-friendly pup just fine — even if one of them requires a brief adjustment period. They would also do well with children who know how to be gentle with animals.
Two brothers who started out scavenging and ended up irresistible — some stories really do have the best endings.
The adoption fee is $250 (total).
Moose and Goose were born around 5/1/26. They have been neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.
We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.
We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?
All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.
