Meet Grape and Raisin!

Grape and Raisin came into our care when they were found as strays without a mother cat. They had not been well socialized with people and needed some extra medical attention, so they have spent the past month in a foster home getting lots of TLC. While they are still sensitive and will require some extra considerations to continue their socialization journey, they have come such a long way already. The quickest way to either of their hearts is Churu treats and wand toys - they can't resist either! In their new home, in addition to continued work with helping them trust humans, they are looking forward to continuing to enjoy wand toys, cat tunnels, climbing cat trees, and wrestling and chasing each other.

Raisin is still the slightly more nervous one of the pair and takes cues from his brother. If Raisin sees Grape enjoying a pet he might come over and know it is safe. They both love pets and will start purring as soon as you start petting them. Grape will push his way in to try and steal Raisin's pets, while Raisin is a little more reserved and may surprise you with a rare snuggle session on his own terms. They both have lived with and enjoyed quiet older children. Since they will be fearful and run away with fast movements or loud noises, the approach of the person (no matter the age) will be important!

Children: Grape and Raisin have lived with older, respectful children and have done well.
