Meet Chain Chomp!
Chain Chomp came to us from a shelter in southern Vermont that requested help with kittens needing some extra TLC. As an under-socialized kitten, she is still learning to trust humans and may get startled easily. Because she was very fearful in the shelter, she is in a foster home that can provide her with extra one-on-one socialization. With patience, time and a yummy Churu you'll begin to earn her trust and help her learn to trust humans more easily.
Continuing to show her through gentle, repeated positive experience that her world can expand to include new people in a safe and reliable way will be essential. While she may require extra time and attention up front to build this foundation of trust, the benefits will be life-long.
Cats: Chain Chomp came to HSCC with her littermates and has no known experience living with other cats
Dogs: Chain Chomp has no known experience living with dogs
Children: Chain Chomp has no known experience living with children of any age. Patience and respect with handling and interactions will be essential to help a cat adjust to having new human family members.
