Meet Lucky—a 1yo male black & white shorthair tuxedo.

He was discovered by a good samaritan who, when taking out the trash, heard mewing coming from a shut box of Costco corndogs that lay discarded beside the dumpster. Temperatures dropped below freezing that night, and trash pickup was the following morning, so this 10-week-old kitten was extremely lucky to be found when he did! (And thus, the name.)

Lucky is a very playful boy—everything is a toy to him! He especially loves laser pointers and fishing pole teasers, which allows him to showcase his extreme speed and incredible acrobatics—plus a jump that, at times, reaches eye level! But his play drive does get him into trouble at times: no toe under the covers is safe.

Lucky really enjoys having a feline friend to chase, wrestle, and cuddle—so if you have a young cat that needs a buddy to handle all that energy, then it's time to get Lucky! This kitty is the perfect partner for any rambunctious young cat.

What Lucky’s looking for in a home:

- He has lots of energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- He has a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to his age.
- He has a positive history with dogs.
- He has no known history with children.
- He needs to live indoors only.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Adjustable fee upon request for adopters who are low income, and seniors, disabled, or others with fixed incomes.
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in adopting Lucky! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt him/her by filling out this questionnaire: https://alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Local Seattle applicants only, please.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
