Sugar Cookie and Yahtzee - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Seattle, Washington

Meet Sugar Cookie and Yahtzee, a bonded pair of kitten sisters. They're estimated to be born mid-June so they are approximately 3 months old.

Still new to indoor life, they've been making quick progress settling in. They're getting pretty comfortable with their foster parent, but still a bit shy with visitors. They are looking for a patient, gentle family who will help them continue to blossom into the confident, spoiled house cats they were always destined to be.

Sugar Cookie, with the shorter hair, is the bolder of the pair, the first to explore, and won't hesitate to loudly remind you when dinner is late.

Yahtzee, with the longer hair, is a bit more reserved at first, but quickly comes around and will soon be purring in your arms. They love snuggling together and grooming each other as they adjust to their new indoor life.

Together, they make a very rewarding and photogenic pair!

What Sugar Cookie and Yahtzee are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.
- They can get nervous, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Adjustable fee upon request for adopters who are low income, and seniors, disabled, or others with fixed incomes.
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts
