Meet Truvy and Applejack, a bonded pair of kitten siblings. They are about 3 months old.
These two are part of a litter of kittens named as an homage to Dolly Parton and they are just as iconic and lovable!. They’ve been handled since they were itty bitty , so they’re wired to trust people. They purr the moment they see you and are ready to play or party!
They’re classic high-octane kittens: playful, curious, climbing anything that looks climbable and they love to discover new toys. They have excellent litter box habits and are pros at nail trims (with a little Churu treat, anything is possible!) As bonded littermates, these 2 will thrive being adopted together.
Truvy is a grey tabby male (yes, with a female name as we discovered he is male at his spay/neuter appointment!) who has a real affinity for feather toys and jumping on his brother! He is a little cautious when playing with new toys but his brother usually shows him the way that they are OK.
Applejack is a white male with a little faint black spot on his head. Applejack is deaf but that is no hindrance to this joyful, playful kitten! We see it as his superpower - he sleeps more soundly and the vacuum doesn’t bother him one bit! Other than hearing loss, this guy is completely healthy - and so are his lungs as he has a rather loud meow to get your attention (mostly at meal times!).
These kittens are social, affectionate, energetic, and ready for a home that understands their level of activity and are prepared for a super fun and sweet lifetime!
What Truvy and Applejack are looking for in a home:
- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have a positive (though limited) history with dogs.
- They get along with children.
All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:
- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Adjustable fee upon request for adopters who are low income, and seniors, disabled, or others with fixed incomes.
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts
Thank you for your interest in Truvy and Applejack! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: alleycatproject.org/adopt
Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Local Seattle applicants only, please.
Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
