Boba and Mochi - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Seattle, Washington

Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Boba and Mochi! They are approximately 6 months old and are a bonded pair.

These lover boys are 100% guaranteed to steal your heart! You would never guess that they began their lives outdoors before being rescued (other than the fact that their favorite toys are sticks).

Mochi wants to be the center of your universe and will let you know it with his sweet, chirpy meow (and also an enthusiastic nuzzle to the face). This little pipsqueak will happily hog your lap as long as possible, but when he's not parked on top of you, he can be found chasing toys, wrestling with his brother, or defying the laws of physics.

Boba is a gentle and curious goofball. With his expressive amber eyes and ears that are slightly too big for him, he’s the cutest little guy ever (don’t tell Mochi!) Boba longs for affection and a special soulmate human. He may take a little longer than his brother to warm up in a new space, but once he feels safe, he will love you with his whole heart!

What Boba and Mochi are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They can get nervous, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Boba and Mochi! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Local Seattle applicants only, please.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
