Bat and Rook - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Seattle, Washington

BAT AND ROOK

Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
Seattle, Washington
September 6th
female, medium, baby

DESCRIPTION

Meet Bat and Rook, a bonded pair of kitten sisters! They are approximately
4 months old.

Bat is a short haired black kitten who loves to snuggle with her sister, run and leap around, chase balls, and play with cat toys. Bat is a little shy, but does enjoy pets. Her favorite things include snacking on Churu, and pretending to be a “tough girl”.

Rook is a short haired “tortie” who likes to spend her time hanging with her sister, exploring nooks and crannies, and tossing cat toys. Rook is a snuggler and will call for you in the morning seeking cuddles. She can’t get enough of churu and feather toys..

Together, they make an adorable pair who can’t wait to get settled in their new home! They have adapted well to their current foster home and will do great in their forever home!

What Bat and Rook are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- Bat can get a bit nervous with new people and may give a tiny hiss at first. She needs a kind and patient guide to help her feel comfortable with new experiences.
- Bat will need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have a positive history with dogs.
- They get along with children, but need children to respect their space.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Adjustable fee upon request for adopters who are low income, and seniors, disabled, or others with fixed incomes.
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Bat and Rook! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Local Seattle applicants only, please.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
