Meet Thistle!

Don't let the name fool you-this handsome black-and-white kitten may be named after a prickly plant, but he's actually a total sweetheart. Thistle is estimated to have been born 4/8/26, and much like his sister Azaela, he's a social little guy who believes there's no such thing as too many friends.

Thistle loves people and is happy to meet just about everyone. He's also perfectly comfortable around other cats, kids, and even small dogs, making him a wonderfully well-rounded little companion. His favorite activity is pretty much anything that involves moving at top speed, because Thistle has that classic kitten energy that seems to run on an unlimited supply of batteries. Chasing toys, zooming around, wrestling with feline friends, and generally turning the house into his personal racetrack are all part of his daily agenda.

There is one thing Thistle would prefer to avoid: loud noises. He's a sensitive little guy when it comes to sudden commotion, so he'd appreciate a home where he can have some quieter spaces to retreat to when things get a little too exciting. Give him a little peace and quiet, though, and he's right back to being his happy, playful self.

Because Thistle is a social, energetic kitten who loves feline companionship, he is required to be adopted into a home with another cat or kitten. A feline friend will give him someone to play, chase, wrestle, and nap with-and help keep his considerable kitten energy pointed in a productive direction.
