Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Sweet li'l lady Beebop was surrendered to us because her owner logistically couldn't keep up with her allergy care. They did really love her, but allergies can be tough to pin down in a patient who can't talk to you. Beebop is feeling a little rough right now as a result, but has such a nice disposition! She is around 5ish years old, recently spayed, and is starting a steroid and allergy medication to get her skin healed up first, and then we'll gradually taper down her meds to see if either will continue to work for long-term allergy mitigation. We've also started her on a hypoallergenic diet, which PAWS can provide until adoption, though she must only eat this diet- no treats, no people food, etc.

Allergies in cats are a marathon, not a sprint! So we're hoping to find a foster who can keep a diligent eye on Beebop's itchiness and comofrt level, and who understands that we may not achieve perfect allergy control for many weeks, if not a couple months.
