Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
CHURRO
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
May 24th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Churro is just as sweet as her name (if not sweeter!), and ready to steal your heart-and lap!
This adorable smiley girl is full of wiggles, affection, and spunky charm. Churro loves meeting new people and has already been winning over everyone she meets with her happy personality and loving nature. She also did great meeting other dogs and enjoyed joining a playgroup at the city shelter, so we suspect that she would love to continue having canine companionship in her future.
Because Churro was found as a stray, we're still getting to know all of her favorite things, quirks, and habits. But one thing is already very clear: she is ready to be someone's best friend!
If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling and shower you with love, Churro may be your perfect match!
Not ready to adopt but able to care for Churro while she waits for her forever home? Please email foster@phillypaws.org to learn more about fostering her!
------------------------------------
This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
