Have you been looking for a pathway to inner peace?
Bullseye might know the way - and he can be the cat to guide you! After a good breakfast, simply give him some chin and neck scritches (or maybe some strokes with a soft brush) to unleash his epic purr. Close your eyes and listen to the symphony of rumbles and chirps that erupt as he settles in next to you, becoming the perfect picture of contentment. It's as if he's communicating: "if this purr could be shared with all nations, it could, possibly, lead to world peace." (To hear a few seconds of that calming purr, turn the speakers up while looking at the last video.)
This former colony cat is becoming a buddy cat as well as a lover and is having no problem adapting to indoor life. Unsurprisingly food motivated, he enjoys his meals (and is also easily bribed with food) and then is ready to settle in as your work-from-home assistant cuddler, curled up next to you or in a sunny window nearby, and somehow always sharing his sense of appreciation of, as he calls it, "the good life". He's estimated at around 10 years old, but still loves to play like a kitten in short spurts. Given the right toy (feathers and ping-pong balls are currently favorites), he'll run, spin and jump his sometimes goofy way into your heart (also, sure that he will receive many treats, which he likes to refer to as "snack time").
Fine Print: Bullseye is FIV+, but since it can only be transmitted through bites or sex, he's toothless and neutered so there isn't a lot of risk. He also arrived at PAWS with a bite wound, so he should be kept separate from other animals in your home until June 4th. He also is suspected to have pillow-foot and is currently on an antibiotic that he eats eagerly when mixed into his food.
After reading all this and looking at the many photos of Mr. Bullseye, if the idea of inner peace still appeals to you, contact shub888@hotmail.com for more info and more pictures of the oh so very handsome boy.

This cat has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which is specific to the felines and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. Cats with FIV can live normal, happy, healthy lives, but the virus can weaken a cat's immune system. FIV is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered, so mating is no longer an option! Since FIV does not spread through casual contact like grooming, sneezing, and food/litter sharing, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that have tested negative as long as the cats get along without fighting. Our staff will be happy to tell you more about FIV, and you can learn more about FIV here: phillypaws.org/fiv
