Gourd may be the most orange cat to exist. Cuddly, funny, and always up to explore, he is always sure to put a smile on your face and keep you just a bit on your toes. Playtime is pawsome, and some might even consider this athlete a jock-o-lantern just waiting to be discovered!

Gourd gets along with other kitties and with his mellow and fun purrsonality, we think he will do great in just about any home ready for a little glow in their life. So laid back he can barely keep his eyes open for a photo shoot, Gourd is ready to carve out his next adventure in life, and hopes that is with you!

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
