Simmons is a 2-year-old tuxedoed gentleman whose first two loves are food and being around his people...and he's not ashamed to admit it. If you're ready to be his personal chef, snuggle buddy, and audience for his daily antics, you might just be the lucky human he's been dreaming of.

This clever charmer learns routines quickly, comes when called (usually for snacks), and loves nothing more than lounging in sunny spots, bird-watching, or supervising your every move from a cozy perch. He's basically a furry, four-legged life coach, strictly focused on your happiness (and maybe dinner).

Simmons shines in homes where he's the main feline star: he prefers to be the only cat, but he's fine with dogs and could do well with kids who understand the importance of giving him plenty of attention. He's also on a prescription urinary diet, which keeps him feeling healthy and ready for all the snuggles and snacks life has to offer.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
