Affectionately known as Ruthie G by her foster, this 2 year old tiny legal scholar is an advocate for equal rights and fair treats. She is very vocal about values near and dear to her, and when she isn't in her favorite tunnel (or sometimes even when she is in it), spends a lot of her time objecting to her catnip toys and confidently promoting legal opinions.

Ruthie G. is looking for a relaxed home where she can hang watch the birds from her cat condo or recharge in the sunshine by a window. For now ,she would do best as the only cat in your courtroom. Ruthie can get overstimulated at times and will politely file a complaint if petting sessions exceed her approved terms. She appreciates brief intermissions, and would do best in a home without young children.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
