Selene is an 8 month old stunning long-haired tortoiseshell with a quiet soul and soothing presence. She enjoys spending her days recharging in the sunbeams, napping in her cat condo or trying to catch her favorite toy!

Selene is looking for a home with another friendly feline who can help build her confidence. She is curious but shy, preferring to take things in from afar for now. She would thrive in a peaceful home where she can settle in at her own pace. Once comfortable, we know she will start to blossom into her beautiful, gentle and affectionate self. ❤️

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
