Briar - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Orange, Virginia

Briar is a 9-week-old female kitten who was born right here at the shelter on August 2, 2026! Her mother, Bertha, was surrendered along with several other cats from a property where their caretakers were no longer able to provide for them.

Briar and her siblings spent time in foster care, getting a wonderful start on life before returning to the shelter. Now she's got her little paws on the ground and is on the hunt for a family of her own!

Briar has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and received age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives.
