Meet Mavis!

Mavis was found and rescued alongside her mom, Abigail, and while she can be a little shy when meeting new people, her loving personality shines through once she feels safe. Give her a little time and patience, and you'll be rewarded with nose boops, gentle kisses, happy trills, and a devoted lap companion who loves to keep an eye on everything you're doing.

This beautiful tortie girl has an adorable face that reminds her foster mom of a tiny bat or lemur. She's very observant and enjoys watching the world around her, but once she's comfortable, she's also playful and energetic. Feather wands and cat tunnels are some of her favorite toys, and she'll happily entertain herself before curling up beside you for a nap.

Mavis must have a feline friend in her new home, as she takes comfort from other cats and would not do well as an only pet. While she is not bonded to a specific cat, her mother, Abigail, is also available for adoption, and the two would make a wonderful duo for someone looking to welcome a pair. That said, Mavis would also be happy joining a home with another friendly resident cat.

If you're willing to let this sweet girl move at her own pace, Mavis will reward you with endless affection, a warm lap companion, and one of the loudest purrs around.
