Luther has big, soulful eyes and a permanently surprised expression. He has a beautifully soft coat, and beneath all that fluff is one of the gentlest souls you'll ever meet.

Luther was rescued from a busy intersection. When he was trapped, it quickly became clear that he was far too sweet for life on the streets. While the world can still feel a little overwhelming to him, he's been learning that indoor life comes with some pretty wonderful perks... especially Churu treats.

This handsome brown tabby is a bit of a shy guy. New people and unfamiliar situations make him nervous, and when faced with stress, Luther has chosen his survival strategy: freeze. Not so much fight or flight. Luther will crawl into the nearest blanket, cat bed, or hiding spot and not move until things seem safe again.

But patience pays off with this special guy.

Once Luther begins to trust you, you'll discover a sweet, affectionate cat who loves pets, enjoys playtime, and chats with you using the cutest little chirps. He has lots of adorable opinions.

One thing that helps Luther feel brave is other cats. He absolutely loves feline friends and tends to gain confidence when a friendly kitty shows him the ropes. Because of this, he'd thrive in a quiet home with a congenial cat companion who can help him continue building his confidence.
