Bella & Billie - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in New Berlin, Wisconsin

Bella and Billie are best friends, grooming buddies, nap companions, and members of the fluffy girl club. They would love to find a home where they can continue this partnership.

Billie is the more outgoing of the duo. She’s a gorgeous tuxie girl with an exceptionally cute mustache. She loves people, greets her foster mom every morning, purrs often, and enjoys attention. She’s even been learning tricks with clicker training, thanks largely to her deep appreciation for snacks... Temptations, freeze-dried chicken, chicken livers, minnows, salmon, Churus... Billie has developed a sophisticated snack palate.

Bella, meanwhile, is a beautiful gray/blue cloud with silky fur and a gentle approach to life. She is shyer than Billie and likes to take her time getting comfortable, but she has blossomed so much in her foster home. She enjoys playing with the other cats, watching birds through the patio door, and quietly joining whatever fun is happening without needing to be the center of it.

Unlike Billie, Bella has reviewed the clicker-training program and declined to participate at this time. She would certainly like the treat, thank you, but competing with a crowd for it seems unnecessarily undignified. In a quieter setting, she might be persuaded. Her preferred currencies are Churu and Temptations.

Billie and Bella are ridiculously sweet. They sleep curled up with each other, groom one another, and take comfort in having their best friend nearby. They also get along well with the resident cats in their foster home, so they aren’t an antisocial clique. They’re just very, very fond of each other.

Billie does take a daily heart medication, but she does not let that interfere with her social calendar. She loves running around with her feline friends, taking a little rest when she needs to, and then heading right back into the action. She’s also learning that she likes lap time and brushing.

These girls would be happiest in a patient home. Billie may be ready to make your acquaintance while Bella hangs back and conducts a quiet background check. Give Bella the time and space to feel safe, and you’ll get to watch a shy little cat gradually realize that she’s home.
