DESCRIPTION

Meet Munchkin!

If you're looking for a kitty who is equal parts playmate, explorer, cuddle bug, and tiny troublemaker, Munchkin would like to introduce herself! This girl is ready to play with anyone-a human, a kitty, a dog, the free-roaming rabbit, or pretty much anything else that looks like it might be fun. She has absolutely no fear and approaches life with a "What are we doing?! I'm in!" attitude.

Munchkin has plenty of energy and can play pretty much all day. Wrestling with her furry friends? Yes! Chasing toys? Absolutely! Finding a dog toy that is clearly much too big for her? Even better! And if none of those options are available, she'll happily use a human as her personal jungle gym. When she finally wears herself out, she has a few secret napping spots around the house where she disappears for a while. She's recently discovered that the couch makes a pretty fantastic nap spot too-and her foster family is VERY happy about that development!

This little girl is also a purring machine. She'll walk all over you, roll onto her back for tummy scratches, and happily kick her back feet while she plays. She does have a playful tendency to use her teeth, so her humans should be ready to redirect those enthusiastic little chomps toward appropriate toys.

Munchkin is wonderfully social and seems to have never met a stranger. New people? Bring them on! Dogs? Friends! Cats? Wrestling partners! Rabbit? Apparently also a potential playmate! She takes new experiences in stride and has shown very little that makes her nervous. Give her a cozy place to crash, plenty of toys, and some good food, and she's one happy girl.

Speaking of food... Munchkin LOVES food. And we mean LOVES it. When she first arrived, she was underweight and wasn't particularly interested in eating. Fast-forward to today and this girl has discovered the joys of wet food, dry food, and apparently anything her humans happen to be eating. If you have a plate of food nearby, Munchkin may suddenly appear at approximately warp speed and attempt to launch herself directly onto it. She is still learning that human dinners are not part of the kitty buffet, but her enthusiasm is undeniably adorable.

Her litter box skills are coming along great, with only rare accidents. Her foster family suspects those may have more to do with her not wanting to make the trip downstairs to the litter boxes. Honestly, when you're busy being a professional kitten, who has time for stairs?

Munchkin is the kind of kitty who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and make sure there is never a dull moment. She is independent enough to entertain herself but loves having people and pets around for playtime and companionship.

So, potential adopter, prepare yourself for the cutest little whirlwind you've ever met. Munchkin comes with endless playtime, a purr that never seems to quit, an impressive appetite, and enough personality to fill an entire house. If you're ready for a kitty who thinks everyone is a friend and everything is a toy, Munchkin is ready to meet you!

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
