With his warm orange stripes, crisp white markings, and soft golden eyes, Spongebob is the kind of kitten who catches your attention right away. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 24th, and at just 9 weeks old, he is still tiny and has a good deal of growing left to do, with an estimated adult weight of 9 to 11 pounds once he reaches maturity.

At this age, kittens are discovering the world for the first time, and Spongebob's future family will get a front-row seat to all of it - the clumsy pounces, the first real naps, the slow unfolding of his personality as he grows into himself.

He shares his kennel with three siblings, Squidward, Patrick, and Sandy. Kittens often do wonderfully when adopted in pairs, giving them a playmate and a familiar companion as they grow, and adopters are warmly encouraged to consider bringing home two of the siblings together.

Spongebob is up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and will be neutered prior to adoption. He is waiting in Kennel #626 with that bright orange and white coat, ready to grow up in a home that will love him for the cat he becomes.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
