KAYA (also see BRUTUS) - Staffordshire Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Georgia

Meet Kaya! This sweet girl arrived at the shelter on 6/5 alongside her best friend, Brutus. Sadly, their family had to move and was unable to take them along. The good news is that Kaya comes with a wonderful history. Her former family reports that she is house-trained, great with children, and gets along well with both cats and other dogs. That's a fantastic foundation for her next home!
The volunteers describe Kaya as a gentle, loving girl who is understandably a little scared and confused by the loud, unfamiliar shelter environment. Despite the changes in her life, she remains sweet and easy to handle. She walks nicely on a leash and takes her time exploring the world around her. Kaya has a true "stop and smell the flowers" personalityshe loves investigating every interesting scent along the way and enjoys taking in all the sights and smells during her walks.
Kaya is looking for a family that will give her the love, stability, and security she deserves. If you're searching for a loyal companion with a gentle spirit and a curious nature, Kaya may be the perfect addition to your family.

Kaya is approximately 5 years old, and weighs 48 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Please come meet Kaya in kennel 78; her ID # is 19657.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a muscular, agile dog known for its loyalty and affection towards its family.
