Meet Jimbo & Kenny – Shy Brothers Worth the Wait - Transport Available Nationwide

If you walk into the room and we run, please don't take it personally. We're Jimbo and Kenny, two shy brothers who are still learning that people can be safe. Give us a little time, and we promise the wait will be worth it.

Our story started out rough. We were surrendered to a crowded, high-kill shelter and ended up on the euthanasia list. Luckily, rescuers stepped in and saved us together. Ever since, we've relied on each other for comfort. We're almost always found sleeping or relaxing next to each other, and we'd love to stay that way forever.

Here's a little about each of us.

Jimbo is the laid-back brother. He's quiet and happiest when he's lounging, enjoying Churu treats, or getting belly rubs and gentle scratches around his head and cheeks. He can get nervous in unfamiliar situations, but once he feels comfortable, he's friendly and soaks up attention.

Kenny is the chatty one. He'll let you know when he wants love. He may run at first, but slow movements and gentle pets win him over quickly, and then he'll meow for more. If he sees Jimbo getting attention, he may come closer to claim his share. He's an adorably jealous boy who never wants to miss his turn.

Jimbo is currently in treatment for FIP and is expected to wrap up his 84-day treatment in October. Potential adopters can receive more information about his treatment and progress.

We seem to do well with other cats, but our experience with dogs is unknown. Since we're still building confidence, we'd do best in a calm, quiet home with patient people who will let us adjust in our own time.

We may be cautious at first, but we're gentle boys who want to feel safe and loved. All we need is a home where we can do that together.
