Let me introduce myself. I am Honey, and yes, I am every bit as sweet as my name suggests. I am also energetic, playful, and deeply affectionate, a combination that I think makes for a pretty wonderful dog. Jumping and playing are two of my great joys in life, and fetch is something I am genuinely skilled at. Hand me a ball, find some open space, and watch me go. That said, I am just as happy slowing down and being close to my people. Kisses are something I give generously, and having my ears scratched is a kind of happiness I cannot fully put into words. I am crate trained, which makes me an easier fit in a new home from day one. Dogs are absolutely my people, in the canine sense of the word. I love playing with other pups and get along with them beautifully. Kids are wonderful too. I do not have all my commands down just yet, but I want to be clear about something: I am a fast learner. When someone shows me what they need from me, I catch on quickly and I genuinely want to do right by the people in my life.
