Hi, I'm Strawberry! Puppyhood is a wild ride and I am living it to the fullest. I wake up every morning ready to run, explore, and fill whatever space I'm in with joy. I have been described as happy and energetic, and both of those things are completely true. My ideal person is someone who can keep up with me while also giving me the structure I need to grow into the incredible dog I am becoming. Firm, consistent guidance goes a long way with me, and I soak it up especially when treats are involved. They are by far my favorite thing. Chew toys, not so much, but give me an open yard with a good fence and I am in paradise. After all that running and playing, though, I transform into a completely different kind of dog. I become the dog that climbs into your bed, presses up against you, and refuses to move. I am a champion cuddler, and I take that role very seriously. I am currently in the process of potty training and making steady progress. Something to know about me: collars do not last long around my neck because I tend to chew them off. A harness works perfectly for me, and I genuinely do not mind wearing one. The only thing I ask is that you store it safely when we are hanging out at home, or I might see it as a chew toy stand-in. I am great with other dogs, prefer a home without cats, and am still warming up to kids. A fenced yard is truly important for my happiness and wellbeing.
