Meet Bongo – 5 Pounds of Pure Love & Playfulness!

Hi, everybody! My name is Bongo, and I’m a 6-month-old little heart-stealer with a BIG personality and an even BIGGER heart!

I was rescued in Texas, and now I’m dreaming of finding my forever family up north! I may only weigh 5 pounds, but I’ve got enough love to fill an entire house!

I’m a happy, playful little guy who believes life is one big adventure! Give me a fun toy, and I’ll show you my silly side. But when playtime is over, I’m all about the snuggles! I absolutely LOVE being petted, and I’ll gladly soak up every bit of attention you’re willing to give me.

And here’s the best part: I love EVERYBODY!

Other cats? Yes, please! Let’s be friends!

Dogs? Absolutely! The more buddies, the better!

Kids? I love them!

Humans? My absolute FAVORITE! More hands for petting! Also, I am litter box trained!

My rescue offers a wonderful Foster-to-Adopt program called “Getting to Know Me!”

You can welcome me into your home for a 3-week trial period to see if we’re the perfect match. We’ll have time to play, cuddle, and discover what life together could be like!

If we’re not the right match, simply let my rescue know so they can help coordinate my next steps. You may be asked to care for me for another 7–10 days while return transportation is arranged.

My adoption fee is $250, and it includes:
Spay/neuter surgery
All required age-appropriate vaccinations
Flea and tick prevention
Microchip
Transportation from Texas to the Northeast to meet my forever family!
