Meet Survi – A Brave Survivor Waiting for Her Forever Home
Survi is a beautiful two-year-old girl whose strength and resilience are nothing short of incredible. She has survived a devastating road traffic accident, major surgery, and a long recovery—and through it all, she has remained a sweet soul who simply wants a chance to live the life she deserves.
When Survi arrived at Companion Clinic after her accident, she had suffered severe injuries. Her right hind leg had been badly fractured and unfortunately developed gangrene, making amputation the only way to save her life. She also had a traumatic wound on her left front leg.
Survi underwent a successful right hind limb amputation and received extensive wound care for her left forelimb until it completely healed. Today, her amputation site is healed, her wounds have recovered, and she no longer needs medication.
But there is one heartbreaking part of Survi's story that we desperately want to change.
Since recovering, she has spent more than a year living in a cage.
After everything this brave girl has endured, a cage is no place for her to spend another day. Survi deserves to stretch out in a soft bed, watch birds from a sunny window, explore her surroundings, and finally experience what it means to have a home.
Survi does have some stiffness in her left elbow as a result of the prolonged immobilization following her accident. Rehabilitation exercises can help improve her mobility and comfort, and she deserves someone willing to give her that opportunity.
Survi has already fought so hard to survive. She lost a leg, endured painful injuries, and spent an extraordinary amount of time recovering. Now she needs someone to fight for her future.
She doesn't need pity. She needs a chance.
A warm bed. A safe home. Gentle hands. Patience. Love.
After surviving so much, Survi deserves to spend the rest of her life knowing that she is safe, wanted, and cherished.
