Meet Tito
Tito is a handsome 6-year-old gray tabby looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He has spent his entire life as a beloved indoor companion, and his person loves him dearly. Unfortunately, she is living with Alzheimer’s and Tito can longer stay with her. When she first moved into a nursing home, Tito was fortunate enough to be able to stay right by her side. But as her Alzheimer’s progressed and she was transferred to a specialized wing, Tito was no longer allowed to remain with her. After six wonderful years together, Tito is hoping someone special will give him the loving forever home he deserves.
Tito is a chill, laid-back guy with a playful athletic side. Most of the time, you’ll find him happily lounging in his cat tower, taking in the world from his favorite perch. But don’t let his relaxed nature fool you—this boy can jump to the top of the refrigerator when he feels like showing off!
Tito is a cat who likes to do things on his own terms, and once you understand his language, you’ll discover his sweet side. Rather than being scooped up or chased for attention, Tito prefers to make the first move. Give him a little space and let him approach you, and he may reward you by rubbing against your legs or settling right on your feet. â¤ï ̧ He isn’t aggressive; he’s simply a gentleman who likes to decide when he’s ready for affection.
Tito is comfortable with respectful children who understand that cats need choices and personal space. He has never lived with another cat or dog, so his feelings about furry roommates are unknown. A home where he can be given time, patience, and the freedom to settle in at his own pace may be just what this sweet boy needs.
After six years of being someone’s cherished companion, Tito deserves to feel cherished again. If you’re looking for a handsome, independent fellow who will become your friend on his terms—and whose quiet trust will make every head rub and foot cuddle feel extra special—Tito may be your perfect match.
