DESCRIPTION

Meet Poppy, Dahlia, Oreo, Mert & Rickman

These five adorable kittens got their start on Mert Rickman Road, where they were born to a community cat who did her best to keep them safe. Thanks to some caring rescuers, the kittens were brought indoors to begin their journey toward forever homes, and their mama has since been spayed and returned to the place she called home.

Now it's their turn to find families of their own!

Poppy, Dahlia, Oreo, Mert, and Rickman are everything you could want in a kitten—playful, affectionate, curious, and absolutely bursting with energy. Their days are filled with chasing toys, wrestling with siblings, exploring every corner they can reach, and then collapsing into a kitten pile when they've finally worn themselves out.

When playtime is over, these sweet babies are happy to soak up attention from their humans. They love affection, enjoy being part of the action, and are always ready to bring a smile to your face with their kitten antics.

They have been around children and dogs and have done wonderfully with both. Because kittens thrive with companionship, they would love to be adopted in pairs or into homes with a friendly resident cat who can help show them the ropes.

Whether you're looking for one playful sidekick or a dynamic duo, Poppy, Dahlia, Oreo, Mert, and Rickman are ready to fill their forever homes with laughter, love, and endless entertainment.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
