Meet Solo

Despite his name, Solo wasn't meant to be alone.

This sweet boy came from Northport, Alabama, where he was initially believed to be a singleton kitten. But about a week after Solo was rescued, a surprise arrived—his sister, Snickers, appeared looking for help too. Snickers is still finishing her veterinary care and will be making the trip north later, while Solo is ready to start searching for his forever family now.

Solo is a gentle, loving kitten with a sweet nature that makes him easy to adore. He enjoys attention from his people and is happiest when he has someone to love on. Whether he's curling up for cuddles, following you around the house, or quietly taking in the world around him, Solo is the kind of kitten who makes a home feel warmer.

He's also been around children and dogs and has done well with both, making him a wonderful addition to many different types of families.

Like all kittens, Solo would love a home with a playful feline friend, or he could join a family with a friendly resident cat to keep him company. What matters most to him is having a family of his own and never having to wonder where he belongs again.

Solo may not have been alone for long, but he's ready to leave his solo days behind and become someone's beloved companion for life.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
