Daisy is a sweet, inquisitive girl who adapted beautifully to indoor life. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, is comfortable sharing her space with other cats, and has even learned that cat-friendly dogs can make perfectly acceptable roommates after a little time to get acquainted.

With her silky-soft coat and gentle, easygoing personality, Daisy is the kind of girl who settles in nicely once she's had a chance to learn her new surroundings. She hasn't lived with children, but given her adaptable nature, we think she could fit well into many different types of homes with a proper introduction and a little patience.

Daisy's story began at an apartment complex in Mississippi, where she was living outdoors as part of a colony of about a dozen cats. The property owner reached out to our Southern team for help getting everyone spayed and neutered before a dozen cats became many, many more.

Some members of the colony were happiest returning to the outdoor lives they knew. But Daisy showed us that her future belonged inside. She adjusted easily to foster life and made it pretty clear she was ready to leave her days as a colony cat behind.

Now we've reached the best part of Daisy's story — the part where she finds a family of her own.
