Lyric - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Meet Lyric, a sweet, brave gray kitten with a white spot on her chest! Lyric came to us with her mom and 3 littermates from a person who wasn't able to get mom fixed. We agreed to take the kittens, socialize them, get mom fixed so she can go back to her owner, and then adopt her wonderful kittens out!

Lyric went to a separate foster home as she wasn't gaining weight as quickly as her littermates (Rhythm, Forte and Tempo) were and it was discovered she is a very slow eater and prefers to eat small amounts now and again. She has so much energy and loves to play with her fellow foster kittens Tucker and Tatum! She has a favorite stuffed mouse and a little pom pom she carries around in her mouth, making little growling noises if the other two try to take them away - so cute! Lyric also loves cuddling on laps, watching out windows, and climbing!

We believe that kittens are happiest when they have another kitty to play with so Lyric will need to be adopted with another kitten or already have a young playful cat at home. She would LOVE to be adopted with Tucker (orange tabby kitten) or Tatum (tabby with white feet)!

For the safety of our kittens and of young children, we do not adopt kittens under six months old to a home with children under the age of 6.

With an approved application, a meet and greet can be set up at the foster home.

Lyric has been spayed, vaccinated, combo-tested, and microchipped. She has an approximate birthdate of April 15, 2026 and her adoption fee is $120.
