Persimmon - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Meet Persimmon, a demure, little panther kitty who was part of an overcrowded home of cats near apple orchard country and thus how she received her name (a fruit theme). She came to Second Chance along with housemates Appletini and Blackberry.

Persimmons may not be a fruit most people have heard of but they are full of fiber and vitamins and so good for you. That's our Persimmon, she is good for you. A little tentative right now as she adjust to her new space, she is friendly and loves head scratches, leaning in for more. While she does kay with the other kitties in the room, they can make her a little skittish. Persimmon prefers one on one time and a gentle approach. She has a super sweet nature and is hoping someone can see her for the delight she truly is.

Persimmon would be great for a single person or a couple or a family with older respectful kids. At this moment, she would likely prefer a quieter, routine household and an adopter willing to give her time to acclimate. She does get along with other calm, non-aggressive kitties but might like to be a solo pampered princess.

Persimmon has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Persimmon has an approximate birthdate of 06/29/2025. Her adoption fee is $95.
