Large Marge - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania

Oh Lawrd, She's a Comin'! It's our girl Large Marge! She has many nicknames (all affectionately given) such as "Margey Moo", "MuMu", and "Chunka Munga". We all love her larger than life personality! Marge was found by a Good Samaritan who saw how rotund she was and thought "she has to be pregnant", and reached out to TCR. Funnily enough, she was not pregnant, she was already spayed! She was just large and in charge. Her biggest concern was she was covered in fleas and had an itchy rash from flea dermatitis. While she is flea and rash free now, she still has some bald patches on her from the experience.

Marge is a chatty girl. She's all for telling you how her day was, and she loves when you talk to her. If you love talkative cats, Marge has a lot of tea to spill. She loves being petted and given attention. She doesn't mind being picked up and held for short periods of time. She's pretty easy to handle. Marge also likes to give out what we call "love bites" as in, she likes to hold your hand in her mouth as if to say "you're not done yet". While she loves attention and sitting next to her people on the couch, she's also happy to be independent and explore her household. She likes to look out the window to watch the happenings outside as well as sun herself.

Marge is pretty happy with any kind of respectful company. She's happy to hang out with the foster family's toddler, she has integrated into a colony room among other cats, and she's even met the foster family's dog without issue. Marge doesn't mind coexisting with other animals, but she does mind if those friends are too much in her business or are playing too rough. If she were to live with other animals, it would just to be a companion, not a playmate. Marge is also just fine being a solo cat, lapping up all the affection from her foster family.
