Say hello to Albus! One look into this sweet little man's soulful eyes and you'll be spellbound! When Albus first came to TCR, he was extremely scared and would only hiss and hide from us. However, with a lot of patience and many, many tubes of Churu, he slowly started coming out of his shell and showing us his lovely personality!

We learned that Albus absolutely adores being brushed and petted! He definitely qualifies as a certified Floof with his beautiful long coat, wizened white beard, Grinch toes, and surprise curly haired belly! He'll give you a hearty headbutt or step right onto your lap to let you know when he wants to be showered with pets and affection. One of his cutest quirks is that he'll gently push your hand down with his paw or head if you happen to touch him in a sensitive spot. After a good brush sesh, he would love to settle into a cozy spot nearby where you can watch his favorite bird videos together (or perhaps read or watch about the happenings at Hogwarts!).

Albus can be easily startled by things like loud noises and new people, which cause him to retreat to his hiding spot until he feels safe to come out again. Because of this, Albus would do best with patient adopters in a calm and quiet home with no young children, though he would likely also do well with older children who are familiar with cats and respectful of their boundaries. He seems to be comfortable with other cats from his limited interactions. We're not sure how he would react to dogs, but he may be fine sharing a house with a calm dog. In the right forever home, he will be able to feel comfortable and truly flourish.
