Sour name, sweet personality, zero chill when dinner is running late. Lemon is the sole girl among four brothers. She might be outnumbered but she's not outdone.
The moment Lemon hears footsteps near the foster room door, she comes barreling over, plants herself at the front, and stares up with enormous eyes. She's saying something that is somewhere between "please feed me" and "I have simply missed you enormously". She's not shy about the specifics either: for a three-pound girlie, her pre-dinner meow packs some serious volume, and you will know exactly what she wants (wet food) and when she wants it (immediately).
Don't let the size fool you - Lemon is a pro at climbing, jumping, tumbling, pouncing, chasing, and bunny-kicking. Anything not bolted down is a toy to Lemon. She's the same size as her 4 brothers in her litter and just as brave, diving headfirst into every wrestling pile like she started it (she may have). She and her all-black brother Free Solo look so alike that even their foster mom sometimes can't tell them apart. Lemon's high energy means that she needs to be in a home with an equally playful companion, maybe one of her littermates!
For all her spunk, Lemon has a soft side too. She will approach you and flop onto her back, little black beans in the air, asking for belly rubs. She rolls happily side to side, fully surrendering to the good life. Her approach to falling asleep is somewhat like a passenger on an airplane. She is trying to keep her eyes open, but her head is bobbing and eyes drooping. Fortunately, a littermate is usually nearby to be a neck pillow.
Lemon is estimated to be 3 months old. She has been spayed, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV / FeLV. Adopt Lemon, and add a little zest to your life!
