Meet Monkey (aka "Monkey Butt")

Monkey is a handsome little tabby boy with a personality that's every bit as big as his energy level! As a singleton kitten, he missed out on learning important kitten manners with siblings, so he's looking for a home that can help him continue growing into the amazing cat he's meant to be.

Monkey has two speeds: 100 mph and completely passed out. You'll find him racing through the house, scaling cat trees, launching himself after wand toys, and turning just about anything into an adventure. Once he's finally worn himself out, he'll crash hard until it's time for the next round of zoomies.

Because he's such an energetic guy, Monkey must be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat who can keep up with him and help teach him appropriate play and social skills. He's good with dogs but is still learning that not every pup wants a tiny tabby bouncing off their face, so patient introductions and continued boundary training will help him succeed.

Monkey is still figuring out the world and will thrive with a family that's willing to be patient, consistent, and embrace the wonderfully chaotic kitten stage. With plenty of playtime, positive guidance, and a feline buddy to show him the ropes, this silly little "Monkey Butt" is sure to grow into an incredible lifelong companion.

Monkey is indoor-only and is looking for a home ready to match his energy, continue his training, and love him through every zoomie and nap.

OUR CATS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.


All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).


Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.


Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
