Chorizo is a beautiful tabby kitten with unique coloring, an expressive personality, and a playful spirit that's impossible to miss. Rescued alongside her siblings from a life outdoors, she's learning that people, toys, and cozy indoor living are all pretty wonderful things.

Among her littermates, Chorizo is often the first to notice when a wand toy comes out. She can't resist the temptation of a fluttering feather or dangling string and is always ready to join the action. When she's not busy playing, you'll often find her climbing to the highest spot she can reach or curled up with her siblings for a cozy snuggle session.

While Chorizo has a bold personality, she's still learning that humans can be trusted. She has made wonderful progress since being rescued and continues to grow more comfortable and confident every day. With patience, love, and a consistent routine, this sweet girl will continue to blossom.

OUR CATS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
