Tortilla Chip is a delightful orange tabby kitten with a playful spirit and a talent for finding the best spots in the house. Rescued alongside her siblings from a life outdoors, she’s embracing indoor living and all the comforts that come with it.

This sweet girl is happiest when she’s surrounded by her siblings. Whether she's snuggled into a hammock for a group nap or perched at the very top of the cat tree surveying her kingdom, Tortilla Chip always seems to know exactly where she wants to be. She enjoys playtime, exploring new heights, and following her feline friends on their latest adventures.

Like her sister Carnita, Tortilla Chip has gained confidence from growing up with her siblings and thrives in the company of other cats. She must be adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another young, playful kitty who can be her friend and playmate.

OUR CATS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
