Rue’s story is one of heartbreak — and unfortunately, one that happens far too often. A couple of months ago, two wonderful people were arriving at a park in Apple Valley when they witnessed something unimaginable. An SUV sped through the park, and Rue was thrown from the window before the vehicle drove off.

Thankfully, Rue’s guardian angels were there that day. Without hesitation, they ran to help her, brought her safely home, and contacted Last Hope. Because of their kindness, Rue was given a second chance at the life she deserves.

Despite everything she has been through, Rue is the sweetest little girl. She is loving, gentle, and so ready to find a forever family who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. This special girl has so much love to give and deserves a home filled with kindness, patience, and unconditional love.

Rue is currently being cared for in a wonderful foster home in Eden Prairie, where she is patiently waiting for her happily ever after.
