DESCRIPTION
Meet Athena, a 1-year-old calico cutie with a heart as bright as her colorful coat! This petite girl walked into the shelter as a stray, but you’d never know it from how quickly she turns on the charm. The moment you meet her, she’s all purrs, head bumps, and curious wiggles.
Athena loves to explore every corner of the cat room like it’s her personal kingdom, and she’ll happily invite you along for the adventure. Her purr motor? Always running—loud, proud, and adorable.
She’s friendly, social, and so ready to leave her stray days behind and join a loving family who loves a cat with equal parts sweetness and spunk. If you’re looking for a petite little sidekick with a big personality, Athena is your girl!
Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalservices/adopt
