Bogart - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Fairfax, Virginia

BOGART

Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
Fairfax, Virginia
April 20th
male, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Bogart arrived with a few scratches and scabs, the kind of marks that hint at a past we’ll never fully know. What we do know is that he’s a charming, black-and-white, feline gentleman with a sweet and curious spirit! After being taken in overnight by a kind neighbor, Bogart wasted no time showing off his indoor manners: he chatted happily with his temporary host and explored every corner with wide-eyed curiosity before settling under the bed for a cozy night’s sleep. When it was time to come to the shelter, he walked right into his carrier like a seasoned traveler. Bogart may carry a few signs of his outdoor past, but his heart is full of sweetness, personality, and potential. He enjoys being petted, but he’s a cat who can get easily overstimulated with too much touch. He’ll politely let you know when he’s had enough, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who can read his body language and respect his boundaries as you build trust together. Bogart is the kind of cat who loves watching the world outside just as much as he loves a good nap, happily observing life from a cozy window perch. He is ready for someone who can give him the safe, loving, and understanding home he’s been waiting for!
