Sweet Harley is an adorable black-and-white little girl whose rescue story started before we even knew she existed.
Days earlier, Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR received a call about a tiny kitten who had been crying loudly throughout the neighborhood for two days. That kitten was Henry. We rescued him, got him safe, warm and fed — but we couldn’t stop wondering where he had come from.
Was there a mama somewhere? Were there more babies?
A few days later, we got our answer.
Mama appeared at the feeder... and she brought her babies with her.
And one of those precious little faces was Harley.
Suddenly, Henry’s story made sense. This little family had been trying to survive outside together, and somehow Henry had gotten separated. His cries were what first alerted us that there were kittens in the area who needed help.
Once Mama showed us where the rest of her babies were, we knew we weren’t leaving until every last one was safe.
And now look at Harley!
No more trying to survive outside. No more busy roads, uncertainty or wondering when the next meal will come. Harley is safe, warm and learning just how wonderful it is to be a spoiled little kitten!
She is sweet, playful, cuddly and absolutely adorable. She loves attention, loves to play and has blossomed into the happiest little girl.
Henry may have been the first little voice we heard, but Harley was one of the precious lives we found because of him.
Now this beautiful black-and-white girl needs just one more thing...
