Simon - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

Meet Simon — Your Personal Weighted Blanket!

Hi, I’m Simon! I’m a handsome 9 1/2-year-old gentleman dressed in a classic black coat with a distinguished white chest. At 16 pounds, I’m not just a cat — I’m a premium, extra-large cuddle package!

I came to HART because my previous owners had allergies. It wasn’t because I ran out of love to give! I’m hoping my next chapter brings me a forever family who will love me as much as I’ll love them.

I came from a home with small children, so I have experience living in a busy family environment. I’m a sweet, affectionate guy who loves being close to my people. My favorite activities include cuddling, getting pets, and having conversations (I have LOTS to say!).

I also enjoy sitting directly on my favorite humans. Why sit next to you when I can sit on you? Think of me as a weighted blanket that purrs!

I’m a smart fellow, too — I come when you call me, because I believe good communication is the foundation of any great relationship. Of course, I may have a few things to tell you when I arrive.

Have other furry family members? No problem! I can get along with both cats and dogs when given proper, gradual introductions. A little patience goes a long way toward helping everyone become friends.

Simon’s wish list
- Someone who appreciates a good cuddle session
- Plenty of pets and affection
- A lap that understands it may no longer belong to its original owner
- Someone willing to listen to my daily updates
- Potential furry siblings, with proper introductions
- A loving forever home where I can settle in and be part of the family

I’m a mature gentleman with lots of love to give. I’ve got a big heart, a chatty personality, and plenty of cuddles to share. All I need now is someone to give me the happy ending I deserve.
