Meet Ava — a gentle little sweetheart ready to find her forever home
Ava is a beautiful dilute tortie, mostly soft gray with a lovely buff marking on her face. Petite and long-legged, she has an elegant little look that makes her easy to fall for. Her estimated date of birth is April 15, 2025.
Ava was found walking through a neighborhood with her two kittens, and thanks to kind Good Samaritans working with HART, this little family was safely trapped and brought into care.
Ava has the sweetest, most loving personality. She happily runs to greet you when you bring her food, often announcing herself with tiny meows, and she absolutely soaks up affection. She loves being petted and shows her appreciation with head butts and sitting right next to you.
Ava enjoys watching television and videos on a phone, and she loves playing with toy mice—sometimes so much that they end up floating in her water bowl. She loves sitting high in a cat tree and looking out the window.
Ava gets used to a certain routine and must be given time to learn that it’s okay in a new situation. For instance, she gets used to being petted while lying on the floor but not in the cat tree or on the bed. She does not like being picked up so she wiggles around until you put her down.
Ava will thrive in a calm, loving home with a steady routine that helps her feel safe and secure. She needs kind adopters willing to give her time to adjust and frequent attention and love. Ava loves to be talked to kindly and pet often throughout the day.
No dogs/ Older kind children/ fine as an only pet or with another non dominant cat like her daughter Penelope.
