Meet Ivy, a sweet, playful little lady who may take a moment to warm up, but once she does, you'll have a very affectionate little shadow. Or should we say shoulder accessory?

Ivy can be a bit shy when meeting new people, preferring to observe from a safe distance before deciding whether you're worthy of her attention. She's not necessarily the kitten who will immediately run up to a stranger and introduce herself.

She's more of a "let me review your qualifications first" kind of girl.

But once Ivy gets comfortable? Oh, you're in for a treat.

This girl LOVES to play! Behind that initially reserved personality is a fun-loving little kitten who enjoys letting loose and showing off her playful side.

And when she's happy, you'll definitely know it.

Ivy is quite the little chatterbox when she's in a good mood.

She has absolutely no problem vocalizing her happiness, which means you'll get to enjoy her adorable commentary whenever life is going particularly well.

A fun play session? Worth talking about.

Some quality attention? She has thoughts.

A comfortable shoulder to sleep on? Five-star accommodations. She'd like to leave a glowing review.

Speaking of sleeping, Ivy has a rather unusual preference when it comes to nap locations.

While other cats are perfectly content with a cozy bed or soft blanket, Ivy absolutely LOVES sleeping on her person's shoulder.

Yes, your shoulder.

Apparently, being close to her favorite human simply isn't enough. She needs the VIP seat.

And as if her quirky personality couldn't get any sweeter, Ivy does wonderfully with both other cats AND dogs!

She would be a lovely addition to a home with furry family members and would especially appreciate people who understand that a shy kitten sometimes needs a little patience before showing her true personality.

Ivy is the perfect combination of initially bashful, endlessly playful, and wonderfully affectionate once she feels safe.

She's looking for a family who will give her the time she needs to settle in, celebrate her happy little conversations, and preferably keep a shoulder available for her daily naps.
