Esme - Siamese and Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Esme is a sophisticated little lady who knows exactly what she likes, and honestly, we respect a woman with standards.

This beautiful girl is incredibly loving and affectionate, but she's not necessarily the type who needs to be carried around like a baby all day. Esme much prefers curling up beside her favorite humans, keeping them company, and enjoying some quality time together. She'll happily tolerate being held, but if given the choice, she'd rather be snuggled up next to you.

Esme also does wonderfully with children, making her a lovely companion for a family looking for a sweet, easygoing adult cat.

When it comes to dogs, Esme is still learning that her canine foster siblings aren't so bad. She generally prefers to mind her own business and politely avoid them when possible, but she hasn't shown any hissing or aggression. She's simply a lady who appreciates her personal space. A home with calm, respectful dogs who won't bother her could be a good fit.

Now, we do need to discuss one very important detail about Miss Esme.

She's a little bougie about her bathroom accommodations.

Esme has very specific litter box preferences, and she is not interested in compromising. Her litter box needs to be LARGE, open-topped, and kept clean. If her standards aren't met, she may choose to pee beside the box instead. She's not trying to be difficult. She simply believes a lady deserves a properly maintained restroom.

Her future family will need to be committed to providing the litter box setup she prefers and keeping it consistently clean so she can maintain good bathroom habits.

Beyond her particular bathroom requirements, Esme is a genuinely wonderful girl. She's loving, gentle, good with kids, and perfectly happy spending her days relaxing beside the people she adores.

If you're looking for a sweet adult companion who enjoys quality time, respects personal space, and expects her bathroom to be maintained to five-star hotel standards, Esme would love to make herself at home.

After all, a girl is allowed to have standards.
